Acts with 'Privacy' in their title from the NZ Legislation API, excluding the Privacy Act 2020 itself. Detects newly enacted privacy amendment acts.
Australian Privacy Act 1988
New compilations published via the Australian Federal Register of Legislation OData API. Captures all changes including the 2024 amendments.

Detected, deduplicated and alerted automatically.
All six sources are checked in parallel. New results are compared against previous versions and already-logged changes. Only genuine new developments are recorded. Historical amendments are seeded silently on first run; you only see what is actually new.

New version / compilation
A new official version of an Act has been published incorporating recent amendments.
Amendment act
A new Act has been passed that amends existing privacy legislation.
Commissioner notice
The relevant privacy regulator has published guidance, a determination or enforcement decision.
Code of practice
A new or updated code of practice has been approved or issued by the regulator.
Alerts
Alerts that reach the right people, not everyone.
Tenant admins configure subscriptions per source, choosing which change types warrant an alert. All six sources are active by default; disable the ones your programme doesn't track.
In-app notifications
Alerts appear in the platform notification centre, linking directly to the change log entry.
Email summaries
Email alerts include the jurisdiction, title, date, summary and source link.
Per-source subscriptions
Enable or disable any of the six sources. Choose which change types trigger alerts per source.
Severity levels
Amendment acts flag as high severity. Commissioner notices and codes of practice as medium.
